Wedding Videos

Weddings and the excitement of that special day, which exudes love, hope, optimism, and passion, indeed constitute a Celebration of Life. We do not have a blanket policy, but because of their sacred nature, we are very selective about which weddings we film. Our philosophy is to try to capture the essence of human love from one person to another in its simplest, purest, and most spiritual expression. Therefore, as a basic guideline, there would be a tendency for us to decline filming excessively large weddings in ostentatious churches or settings. On the other hand, we would consider filming and producing Wedding Videos that are conducted in small, unique, natural, or intimate environments.

Few videos celebrate life more than a well-filmed and well-edited wedding video. Everyone loves weddings and the couple and their parents always want to share their joy with the most important people in their lives. We are well aware of this fact and deliberately take time throughout the day to capture those once-in-a-lifetime moments that reveal the couples’ enthusiasm and joy, those special looks, those moments of tears, those special hugs with friends and relatives, the bantering of the bridesmaids and groomsmen, the laughter and joy of the reception, the toasts, the father-daughter dance, the couple’s first dance, the cutting of the cake, and the many, many other significant moments that can otherwise become lost in the excitement of the day, becoming only blurs of vague images, fading through the years.

Our finished wedding video averages one hour and thirty minutes in length, but may be much longer depending upon the number of personal interviews of the wedding party, friends, and family. Viewing a finished wedding video always proves to be a moving and meaningful experience for the couple and families. It is a magnificent collection of live-action and well preserved memories to be enjoyed forever.

The following are letters we've received recently from a few of our happy couples:
Dear Dave and Pat:

Thank you so much for the wedding "celebration of life" video.

What a priceless treasure you have given us, to be re-lived and cherished for years to come! You truly poured your heart and soul into this creation. A mere "thank you" seems so inadequate, but we mean it truly from our hearts. Thanks so much for sharing and capturing our special day.

Sincerely,

Sue and Jim M.
Dear Dave and Pat:

You sure outdid yourselves on Jamie's and Annie's wedding video. We were surprised and deeply moved when we noticed the care you took to film the special moments of their sacred day. My husband and I were so nervous that I think we missed most of it! Watching the video over and over we became aware of how beautiful and meaningful the day was for all of us. I think after meeting my husband, Don, you would agree that he is not a particularly emotional guy. However, he is virtually unable to watch Annie's wedding video without first taking out the box of Kleenex.

The way you included shots of all the relatives at the ceremony and the reception was very special. Since we never know when we will see some of these people again, the memories of the entire family are sacred and precious. To see all these people enjoy themselves, dance, and have fun means a lot to all of us. Thank you for your sensitivity and artistry. You captured the essence of the day, and we are most grateful.

Love,

Janet
Dear Pat:

I was sorry if I sounded weird on the phone last night. I was so moved and choked up by the beautiful video you guys did of our daughter and son-in-law's wedding and reception that I could hardly speak. It's the most beautiful movie we have ever seen. We watch it every week and we know our daughter watches it even more often. It is so precious that if our house ever caught fire the first treasure we'd grab would be the video of our daughter's wedding.

Thanks so much. We love you guys.
